It might not feel like beach weather outside, but we've got a sneak peek at summer right here with a hot new trailer.

Our obsession with all things "Baywatch" goes way back, so we're excited to give fellow fans an exclusive first look at stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron in action.

Johnson plays seasoned lifeguard Mitch Buchannon — originally played by David Hasselhoff in the classic series that inspired the big screen fun — and in this clip, his character butts heads with Efron's Matt Brody, a cocky new member of the sand-and-surf team.

These lifeguards aren't just contending with dangerous tides. The two-minute video features gunfire, explosives and one dead guy getting the old heave-ho off the side of a boat.

But don't let all of that action fool you — this preview makes a big splash when it comes to laughs, too.

And if the trailer leaves you wanting more, we've got good news. While you can catch the full film in theaters May 26, 2017 (or Memorial Day weekend), you won't have to wait that long for more teasers. TODAY was on set over the summer and we'll have more exclusives to come!
