The Simpson family has been on TV for 22 seasons already, and today, Fox announced that it's bringing Homer and the rest of the gang back for a 23rd season of laughs.

"Like many 22-year-olds, 'The Simpsons' is extremely happy remaining at home, on Fox, and hopes it doesn't have to go out into the real world for many years to come," executive producer Al Jean said in a statement.

The award-winning show, which is already the longest-running comedy in TV history, will have aired 515 episodes when the 2011-2012 season wraps up.
