Disneyland celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, and in honor of the milestone, Disney released a clever video that shows the park's construction in just a minute.
When Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California, on July 17, 1955, its 18 major attractions included the Mad Tea Party ride, the Jungle Cruise, Autopia and the Mark Twain Riverboat.
The amusement park's initial five themed "lands" were Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland and Main Street, U.S.A. Eight exist today, with the additions of New Orleans Square (1966), Critter Country (which opened as "Bear Country" in 1972) and Mickey's Toontown (1993).
