Now here's a reason to burst into spontaneous song. Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale married musician Christopher French, E! News confirms. "Best day of my life! Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014," she Instagrammed.
Tisdale's BFF Vanessa Hudgens was among those in attendance.
French popped the question in August 2013 after less than a year of dating, but Tisdale had no reservations about their whirlwind courtship, later saying that she knew her artist beau was "the one" when they met.
"You know, I didn't [think it would happen that quickly]," she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning show in December. "I think I've obviously been in long relationships in the past, but I think because of knowing what I wanted, I wouldn't have gone into a relationship, if it wasn't what I wanted. And I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it."
French gave her a gleaming cushion-cut diamond ring in a double halo setting—yet another instance of his good taste.
As for preparing for her big day, she told E! News, "I have a wedding planner so that's a lot easier. I'm definitely a perfectionist, so I'm definitely involved with certain things that you'd think I'd be relaxed on. I just want it to be perfect."
Tisdale had her bachelorette party in Miami back in May, enjoying the beach during the day and living it up at night with pals including Hudgens, Kim Hidalgo and Shelly Buckner.
She and French stepped out Aug. 27 at the Revolve Beach House in Malibu for the launch of Velvet by Graham & Spencer's new Join the Fight T-shirt collection, benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and commemorating September's Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
"Ashley and her fiancé were so cute together!" an eyewitness gushed to E! News. The bride-to-be :was very hush hush on any questions about her upcoming nuptials, but she sure did rock that engagement ring!"
