Aniston's boyfriend starred as 'War Horse'? Nay!

Justin Theroux's just starting to be known as more than Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend -- and why not? After all, he had the title role in one of the blockbuster movies nominated for best picture at Sunday's Oscars.

Well, no, he didn't. Except in a fun skit on Thursday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Theroux gamely dressed up in a horse costume and was intercut into scenes from Steven Spielberg's epic "War Horse" -- loping along through a World War I battle with an inflatable doll on his back, chomping an apple, battling out of some barbed wire, and in a scene that's more "War" than "Horse," double-fisting some automatic weapons that we're pretty sure they didn't have in the Battle of the Somme.

Theroux's horse also gets in a gallop on a Hawaiian beach next to a confused George Clooney in "The Descendants." Check out the video and see how he did.
