There's a new "Peanuts" film on the way this year, and in it, the classic characters get a makeover. But Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang aren't the only ones with a new look.
On Tuesday morning, Al Roker shared his thoughts about the "Peanuts" transformation and then got a transformation of his own.
"It looks like claymation, yet the faces look like they're hand drawn," he said of the 3D-animation style before seeing his big reveal.
"This is a dream come true!" Al said with a huge smile. "I'm done! I'm a Peanut! This is fantastic."
And the self-professed "Peanuts" fan was far from finished with his celebration.
The "Peanuts" characters were created by the late comic-strip artist Charles Schulz. Schulz's own son and grandson serve as writers on "The Peanuts Movie," which is set to hit theaters November 6.
