Adele delivered all that was promised at her recent world tour debut ... and then something completely unexpected!

Between songs at her Monday night Belfast concert, the singer invited any woman who wanted to propose up to the stage. It's a tradition for females to pop the big question on Leap Day — and Adele was fully prepared to ensure her performance didn't stand in the way.

After one woman climbed to the stage and confessed she was actually only turning 21, the pop star led the crowd in "Happy Birthday" and then politely sent her back into the audience.

It was at this point that Adele got down to business.

“I’ll boot ya off the stage if you come on and it’s not a real proposal,” the singer exclaimed.

Another woman, Hayley, quickly made her way to the stage, telling Adele that she had half-successfully proposed to her boyfriend earlier in the day. "Maybe in a little while?" the singer shouted, not pleased with how the man had responded to the lady's original proposal.

Adele said that the woman deserved a "proper yes," and started a chant picked up by the Belfast crowd. Soon, the entire concert hall was cheering for the boyfriend. "Come on, Neil!" they shouted.

Now, if only she'd sing at their wedding.
