"The Voice" bromance rages on even between seasons. Country star Blake Shelton revealed to People on Thursday that even while away from the singing competition's set, season five champ Adam Levine, who ended Shelton's three-season winning streak, is still ribbing him.
In a video updating fans about his off-season activities, Shelton talks about spending time in the outdoors, and also answers a few questions he's received.
"'Are you and Adam really as competitive as you act like you are, and does he rub it in when he beats you at anything?'" the country star reads in the video. Rather than a simple yes or no answer, the country star offers a visual answer.
As the garage door behind Shelton slowly starts to open, the singer says, "Ladies and gentleman, today I received a package from Adam Levine, and I think this answers that question."
The gift? A ginormous version of Levine's Sexiest Man Alive cover, so big that it towers over the 6-foot-five Shelton.
"This is why Adam Levine is a complete (expletive)," the "Voice" coach says. "And it's also why I love him so much."
TODAY's Carson Daly, who also hosts the NBC singing competition, said Friday he hasn't yet received the same huge gift, but after seeing Shelton's video, "I'm afraid to go home!"
Season six of "The Voice" premieres Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. on NBC. Along with Shelton and Levine, Shakira and Usher will be returning to coach.
