It seems like everyone (in Hollywood, anyway) is breaking up these days. The list of prominent splits in the past month goes on and on, including beloved couples like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, and, to everyone's horror, Miss Piggy and Kermit.
But fear not, there's plenty of love in Hollywood. Here, we've rounded up some of our favorite couples, who've convinced us that we're not doomed.
1. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris
Is there any couple whose adorable-relationship game is more on point than Pratt and Faris? Between a sweet prank on "Ellen," sharing their son Jack's precious eyeliner artwork, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and speaking candidly about their relationship and the premature birth of their son, Pratt and Faris are simply honest and funny and in love. They make us want to hug someone (as a joke, of course).
2. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been married for more than 27 years ago, and show When Hanks visited Ellen DeGeneres shortly after his 25th anniversary with wife Rita Wilson in 2013, he said: "I'm not one to suck up to the audience, but the only thing we ever argue about is who loves each other more…"
3. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have talked candidly about how they work on their relationship: through couples counseling. "You do better in the gym with a trainer; you don't figure out how to cook without reading a recipe. Therapy is not something to be embarrassed about," Bell told Good Housekeeping in April.
The also help us believe in the age-old law of opposite attraction when it comes to love. "We have such different backgrounds," Shepard told Good Housekeeping. "When I met her and her friends, I was suspicious of their unbridled happiness. I thought, 'Something stinks here; they're in a cult.' But slowly I began to see her positive way of looking at the world. She gives people the benefit of the doubt."
4. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka show that love extends beyond just your partner and into your entire family. The couple adorably shares frequent updates of their two children, Gideon and Harper. "I couldn't be more in love with my family," Harris, 41, captioned a photo of Burtka, 39, and the kids last year.
5. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith
When Jada Pinkett Smith visited TODAY in July, she opened up about her marriage to Will Smith, 46, saying there's no place for jealousy in their relationship. "After you've been with somebody for 20 years," she said, "you think there's any room for that? He knows he got me on lockdown."
The couple, who married in 1997 and have two children together also recently shut down divorce rumors.
"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious)," Will wrote on his Facebook page. "But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!' So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)"
6. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary in October, which McGraw partially attributes to trying to be as normal as possible.
"Certainly it's different because of what we both do, but we try to keep it as much of a family environment that we can," McGraw said in a 2014 interview with E! News. "And most of the time... we try to make that the priority and the primary time that we spend. For us, we leave the front doors when we go to work, but when we're home, we don't talk about none of the music that much… It's a whole different world."
