Denver Post reports: A young moose that wandered into Nederland's skate park on Wednesday was tranquilized by state wildlife officers and removed from the facility's open bowl -- only to later die from the stress of the situation, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials said.
"He was very stressed out by the time we arrived," Parks and Wildlife spokesman Randy Hampton said. "This was a last ditch effort, and unfortunately he didn't make it." Continue reading the full story.
