A record number of decked out dogs and their creatively-inclined owners converged at New York City's Tompkins Square Park on Saturday for an afternoon of costume competition and gawking at the largest Halloween dog parade in the country.
As always, the attendees got imaginative. There were dogs channeling Miley Cyrus, Marilyn Monroe, "Star Wars" characters, and even Kim Jong Un (with an owner dressed like Dennis Rodman). Food seemed to be on everyone’s minds: A dog arrived suited up as a hot dog cart, and the grand prize went to two tiny pups in a “lobster bake” costume (cruel in theory maybe, but pretty darn adorable).
