If you want to see what pure joy looks like, look no further.
Nine-year-old Collette wanted a puppy for years and when she finally got her wish her reaction was priceless.
Lucky for us, it was all caught on camera. In a video posted to EllenTube, Collette is seen crying tears of joy after her parents surprised her with the puppy as a birthday present.
"I got a dog!" she cries. "Oh my god, I got a dog!"
The pup is a Shiba Inu, a type of Japanese dog that resembles a fox, and a breed that Collette has always wanted, according to an explanation from her mom posted along with the video.
Collette's mom called her daughter "an ambassador for the breed, wallpapering her room with pictures of Shiba Inus, giving an oral report to her class in first grade on Shiba Inus, and collecting anything that bore the likeness of a Shiba Inu."

She's also wanted one since she was 3 years old, so her reaction makes sense.
"This is just unbelievably awesome!" Collette shrieks in the video, once it's sunk in that she gets to keep the puppy. "This is the best present I'll ever get in my life!"
"I've been waiting for like seven years and finally!" she says at one point.

Her mom wrote that the family picked Collette up from art camp last month on her 9th birthday, and they drove straight to a breeder's home in Rolla, Mo., where they got the puppy. Her parents made her sit on the couch and cover her eyes while the breeder brought the puppy over and placed it in the girl's arms.
She's already got a great name picked out, too: Wasabi!
