Royals, koalas, and sheep, oh my! Charles, Camilla get close to wildlife

Royal couple Charles and Camilla were on the second leg of their 13-day Diamond Jubilee Tour this week, stopping in Australia and having a number of close encounters with animals — maybe a little too close.

To judge from these photos, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall aren't that wild about wildlife — and the feeling may be mutual. For example, earlier this week we shared photos of Camilla cuddling with a baby kangaroo and looking rather surprised by the moving bundle in her arms.

But that was just the start of the royals' visits to the animal kingdom. See what other creatures great and small Charles and Camilla met this week, and how they got along.

After spending six days in Australia, the royals will head to New Zealand next. Wonder how they feel about kiwis?

Oh dear! Looks like Camilla gets a bit of a scare as the baby kangaroo she's holding moves around in her arms during her first day in Australia.

On day 3 of the couples' tour, the royals had some quality koala time at the Government House in Adelaide. Charles holds a koala named Kao while Camilla holds a koala called Matilda. While the koalas don't seem too phased with being held by royalty, the Prince and Duchess appear to be having a lot of fun!
