When the above photograph found its way into our inbox today, we couldn't resist sharing it with you. This is, of course, Cee Lo Green, recording artist and vocal coach on NBC’s “The Voice,” sequestered in a recording studio with his seemingly constant companion Purrfect the Cat, and posing as if auditioning for the part of the villain in the next James Bond film.

As it happens, Purrfect has become something of a sensation since debuting on season two of “The Voice.” The cat's even become a hit on Twitter, gaining over 50,000 followers. But as usual, with fame comes scandal and Purrfect has not been immune. While the press release with this photo asserts that the cat was adopted, a source told E! Online in March that the feline is actually a rescue cat that Green is renting, and the cost could be as much as $350 dollars a day. For that much money I hope the cat is as smart as MAD Cat from Inspector Gadget and can at least fly a jet or do SOMETHING as interesting!

The press release goes on to announce that Green and the feline have crafted a remix of the famous Meow Mix cat food jingle. The new version is available for download on the Meow Mix website and for every download of the song, one pound of cat food (up to 12,000 pounds) will be donated to Pets Are Wonderful Support, Los Angeles (PAWS/LA) for pets in need. At least something good is coming out of these artists' fluffy relationship!

Are you excited for a remix of the famous jingle? Do you think Cee Lo would make a good super-villain? Tell us in the comments!
