There are several levels to the Animal Tracks team's audible Cuteness Alert. Some photos elicit a sigh, some a gasp, and others, a full-on squeal. Take a lucky shot at what happened when we spotted this puppy and horse kissing.
The pictures are from London on Thursday, where Captain Owen Beynon Brown of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery decided to introduce his dog, Lord Percy, to a horse named Tango.
The King's Troop was getting ready for the 2012 State Ceremonial, where they'll march for the queen's birthday celebrations Saturday.
Here's the rundown, as we see it: Lord Percy gave Tango a friendly sniff. Tango licked Lord Percy on the nose, and then the two, having decided they totally dig each other, just went for it and kissed on the mouth. Well, they kind of kissed on the teeth, and while it looks as though Tango could just take a chomp out of Lord Percy's face, no such chomp occurred. Unlikely animal friends are the best, aren't they?
