For those in need of a baby panda hit, the Smithsonian Institution has got your fix.
The organization’s National Zoo launched an Instagram account on Wednesday and loaded a “selfie” video of giant panda cub Bao Bao as its first post.
The Instagram account also gave the zoo an opportunity to promote its upcoming "Instameet" at its Washington, D.C., facility. TheFeb. 1 #ZooMeet will grant 30 selected participants access to the zoo's panda habitat to see Bao Bao and take photos of her and her parents. Biologists and panda keepers will be on hand to answer questions.
