Orphaned baby wallaby lives in a rucksack

When Tilly the wallaby became an orphan, zookeepers at the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo in England had to get creative.

According to Getty, the baby marsupial was discovered outside her mother’s pouch in March, unable to care for herself. To replace the pouch Tilly would normally reside in, keepers created a substitute out of a rucksack and a blanket.

Now Tilly is hand-reared by zookeepers including Jo Shirley, who often feeds and carries the young wallaby around in the rucksack where she will remain until she can become more self-sufficient. 

It might not be a familiar form of travel for Tilly, but at least she looks like she's having a good time!
