The staff at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park in southwest England received a rather unusual delivery Monday morning: an anonymous package filled to the brim with miniature knitted jumpers.

And although the identity of the sender was never revealed, upon unpacking the tiny, colorful sweaters, the park workers realized that they were intended for the farm's newborn lambs.

The farm usually relies on plastic jackets to ensure the newborns are insulated on chilly mornings to increase the little lambs' survival rates.

"The main priority for lambs in the first few days, when they are at their most vulnerable, is survival," park manager Doug Douglas told Metro. "The plastic jackets that we put on them I admit are not great to look at but ultimately increase their survival by up to 50 percent."
