Bubbles barely made it. He is the only survivor from a litter of four. His three siblings were stillborn, and his mother died two hours after giving birth.
Diana Lewis, an animal ambulance driver from Devon, England, was given the puppy to care for until a permanent home is found.
According to photographer Guy Harrop, Bubbles was trembling when he was given to Lewis, and the veterinarians didn't think he would survive. But now Lewis takes him out on her daily rounds and regularly feeds him whole goats milk through a small bottle. The puppy is now very excitable, running around and bubbling with energy!
TODAY.com multimedia producer Mish Whalen would totally adopt the little guy if her landlord allowed pets.
