It might be time to put an end to the cliché that dogs don't like mailmen.

In the case of 9-month-old Kyza, a large German shepherd from New Zealand, he couldn't love his owner's mailman more.

Michael Collins posted this video on Facebook, describing the sweet moment his pup and mailman shared, an exchange that's turned into tradition for the pair.

"Just want to share something cool! Everyday whether or not we have mail this mail man always stops to see my dog who is only 9 months old. He always gets over looked as a dangerous or unapproachable dog, Maybe cause he's big i am not sure," Collins wrote in the caption.

The video shows the mailman approach the driveway, where the German shepherd is seen lounging. The second he sees his friend, Kyza immediately pops up and stands over the fence to give him a few loving licks.

"He doesn't bark at them or growl (Maybe the odd couple times he barks at people but which dog doesn't ) But this guy here always makes an effort to get off his bike to give him a hug and a pat!" Collins described.

The minute-long clip ends with the mailman giving the canine a full rubdown.

Collins mentioned he didn't know who to tag on Facebook for the mailman to see the clip, and has since had friends and strangers sharing the post all over the internet in attempt to find his pup's friend.

Come on, internet!
