Ugly, or cute?

A rare slipper lobster, affectionately named "Popeye," has been relocated to Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium in England after being discovered in a fisherman's pot.

Slipper lobsters are usually found in much warmer waters. Little Popeye is believed to be one of only a handful of specimens recorded in U.K. waters.

"It appears to be in good health considering its incredible journey and is settling in well to a new display here at the aquarium," an aquarium staffer said. "It is very helpful to us when fishermen continue to bring our attention to these unusual species so we can keep track of how many there really are out there."

The aquarium is hoping their new arrival will eventually be part of a captive breeding program for the rare species. Maybe they should feed him some spinach to build up his strength.
