Actress Linda Blair will forever be known as the girl who made our heads spin when hers did in the 1973 chiller "The Exorcist." She was a young teen when she landed the demonic role that catapulted her to stardom and earned her an Oscar nomination — but it was a role that tortured her for many years afterwards because so many fans also felt she was possessed in real life. Her acting career came to a somewhat abrupt halt, but another door opened for Blair and it's one she is so thankful for. Blair is now acting on behalf of dogs in need of a loving permanent home.

Five years ago, Blair created a non-profit organization called The Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation. The Foundation aims to ease the plight of unwanted pets and has a sanctuary for them nestled in the mountains of Southern California. Her goal is to find the perfect permanent home for every animal she's rescued. Blair resides there as well, managing and cuddling all of these doggies all day long!

It's a costly endeavour that has Blair literally living hand to every animals mouth — but she wouldn't have it any other way. She walks the talk, and to the animals, there is no bigger star in their eyes!
