It's officially the dog days of summer and one pup is trying to beat the heat!
On one particularly hot day, Maddie, a 6-month-old Labrador retriever, decided enough was enough and took matters into her own hands. Sometimes life's ruff!
Maddie grabbed a hose and moseyed her way over to the kiddie pool in her yard where she tried to fill it up, so she could go for a swim. That's one smart puppy! It was quite clever moment that was lucky not to be missed. The video of Maddie trying to fill her pool has since gone viral with over a million views in only a few days and even got a shout-out on TODAY.
Looks like Maddie just wanted to do the doggy paddle! Can we blame her?
