10-week-old Emmett and his 7-week-old Cullen, his canine pal, may not be natural companions. After all, one is a cheetah and one is, well, a puppy.

But natural or not, they're helping each other out in a miraculous way.

The two live at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio.

"Emmett was born at the Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio and was hand-reared while being treated for pneumonia for several weeks," the Zoo wrote on their Facebook page in the caption accompanying the sweet photos. "He then came to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and picked Cullen to be his companion dog."

Apparently, Cullen will help Emmett "be more confident and calm." Cheetahs are normally nervous animals, and the hope is that the dog will have a calming effect on his new pal.

But frankly, we're most excited by the fact that they're just hanging out and getting along. And we can't think of a better way to wind down on a Friday at the end of a long week than to stare at the photos of these two hanging out.
