15 polar bears to get you through the (not quite) polar vortex

As if this weather hasn't been relentless enough, today marked another round of bitter cold, as the country gets blasted with temperatures up to 30 degrees below average. And while the National Weather Service says it's not exactly the return of the polar vortex, we thought a round-up of adorable polar bears would help you warm up from the chill.

You might be sick of the snow, but this guy loves it! Siku won our hearts when he was born in Denmark in 2011, and we can't get enough of that little pink tongue. Here, pictured at 72 days old, he was spending two hours a day frolicking in the powder.Though he's a little bigger these days, we'll never get tired of watching this squee-inducing video:

The cold weather is a great time to take advantage of the outdoors, since everyone else will be inside, freezing. Take a cue from Anori, born in Germany in 2012, who was spotted playing thoughtfully with this branch.

Maybe don't lick the trees, though, if you do venture outside.

Use the frosty temps as an excuse to cozy up to your loved ones.

This is what you probably look like today if you live in the Midwest and Northeast, where temperatures are dropping between 10 to 30 degrees below average:

What's in the box? Is it two tickets to a tropical location?

I guess I'll just hide out in this basket, where it's pretty toasty.

Or maybe take this opportunity to play with some toys.

Who are we kidding? The only appropriate thing to do in this kind of weather is take a nap.
