A video showing a man's adorable reaction to the news he is going to be a grandfather warmed the hearts of viewers around the world this week after it went viral on YouTube.
The video, titled "The Reveal to Grandpa," shows a man having a priceless reaction upon opening a box with a pacifier and a note in it.
"Told my dad he is going to be a grandpa," the accompanying post read on Reddit. "I am his only child and my mother passed away 20 years ago. He has been asking us for grandchildren since our wedding night. I think he is happy."
In the clip, posted by Jessica Hickey to YouTube on April 19, she can be heard off camera giving her father the box while sitting across from him in a booth at a restaurant, and prompting him to read her note.
Once he reads it and realizes he will become a grandfather, he delivers the heartfelt reaction the Reddit post suggests he's long looked forward to having. TODAY.com was unable to reach Hickey to confirm the events in the video.
