It’s safe to say that stay-at-home-moms rarely get the recognition they deserve for the 24-7, no-sick-days job they do—which is why we can’t stop watching “3 Queens,” a going-viral video by Matt Bieler that details (beautifully) the busy days of three SAHMs in Pennsylvania, Washington and Texas.
Yes, the haunting piano music in the background, the sweet narration by a little girl, and the lovely scenes of one mom holding her newborn on a misty, snow-covered porch all tugged at our heartstrings. But it's the devotion to the mundane, everyday duties of a being a mom—cooking, cleaning, caring for sick kids, giving baths, getting winter coats on—that really grabs us. There are countless, quiet ways that moms care for their kids on any given day, and that's something that every mom—not just the SAHMs out there—can relate to. It's about time someone celebrated that.
