After losing his mother only four months after his father passed away, Tom Bergeron posted a touching tribute to his parents over the weekend.
The "Dancing With the Stars" host announced on Saturday that his mom, Catherine "Kay" Bergeron passed away after the family had gathered by her bedside on Friday. Her death came only months after his father, Adrian "Ray" Bergeron, died at 81 after battling cancer. Bergeron, 60, remembered his parents with a sweet photo of the three of them together.
A day earlier, he wrote about the bond of his parents in his mother's final hours, saying "they never did like being apart." In addition, he changed the header of his Twitter page to a black-and-white throwback photo of him with his parents.
He also posted a childhood photo of him with his mother at one of her favorite places, Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine.
The couple are survived by Tom and daughter Maureen Vallieres, as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
