NBA star Kevin Durant brought us all to tears with his emotional MVP award speech Tuesday, thanking his mom, Wanda Pratt, for all the sacrifices she made to get him where he is today.
"You made us believe," Durant said to his mom, who was in the audience. "Kept us off the street. Put clothes on our backs, food on the table. When you didn't eat, you made sure we ate. You sacrificed for us. You're the real MVP."
Many of us feel the same way about our own mothers, so when we asked you to share your #MessageforMom, you answered in droves. Thanks, dear viewers, we were just about to put our tissues away when we started reading your responses; now we're typing through tears. As one viewer points out, this should inspire you to call your mother!
