According to Newsy, there’s a scary new trend called the Knockout Game, where teens walk up to an unsuspecting random stranger and attempt to knock them unconscious. This terrifying “game” has already caused at least three deaths. Attacks have been reported in Chicago, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Washington, D.C., and Brooklyn.

Teenagers interviewed about the violent game say it’s fun (ugh), and a way to see if you have what it takes to actually knock someone out cold. To wit: Friends often video the attack and post it online so the world can see. It’s hard to know how popular this game is getting; police don’t know an attack is prompted by the game unless someone confesses. Some attacks appear to target people who are Jewish.

You can see video footage of some of the hits here, but be warned—it’s not for the faint of heart.
