Lots of us wish we could return to a simpler time, if only for a day. Serena Williams did just that with a fun 1950s-themed baby shower on Saturday.
The tennis star served some serious nostalgia at Nick's 50's Diner in West Palm Beach, Florida.
"When you and your crew go so far back to the 50's," Williams captioned a photo of herself and her friends posing in poodle skirts and polka dots. "Even then they had your back."
And Williams, 35, has quite the girl squad! Her entourage includes actress Eva Longoria, singer Ciara, TV personality La La Anthony, former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland, and of course her sister Venus.
The crew seemed more than happy to play dress-up, sharing pinup-worthy photos using the hashtag #shakerattleandroll2017.
Party signage referred to "Baby O's Diner" in a nod to the tennis star's fiancé, Alexis Ohanian. Williams also used the hashtag #babyO on her photo.
A shiny red truck made the perfect backdrop for photos.
Williams' publicist, Kelly Bush Novak, told TODAY in April that Williams is "expecting a baby this fall." We'll have to wait a bit longer to see if the little one shares mom's (and auntie's) prowess on the court, though!
