Princess Charlotte: New photos taken by Duchess Kate released ahead of 1st birthday

Princess Charlotte is almost 1 — and she's getting so big!

Kensington Palace released a series of four photos Sunday to mark her first birthday Monday. And the photos show Princess Charlotte adorably pushing a toy walker across her lawn with a huge smile.

The other three photos were taken inside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Norfolk home, and show the princess sitting in pretty pink and blue pastels.

The photographer of the sweet pics? None other than Princess Charlotte's mom, Duchess Kate.

"Duke and Duchess are happy to be able to share these family moments, ahead of their daughter's first birthday," Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Since she was born on May 2, 2015, Princess Charlotte has only been seen publicly on two occasions: leaving the hospital after she was born and her christening in June.

"We hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as we do," Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.

The photos mark the second time Kensington Palace has released photos of the young princess. In November, the royal family shared photographs of Princess Charlotte playing with a stuffed toy dog named Fuddlewuddle.
