The Lachey family has a new member — little Brooklyn Elisabeth.
On Tuesday, mom Vanessa Lachey shared all the details.
"She’s HERE!!!!" the actress announced on her blog. "Nick, Camden and I are SO excited to announce the birth of our sweet, beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey! She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts."
Accompanying the good news was the very first photo of baby Brooklyn — or at least part of her, as she grasped her mom's hand.
"I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl," the 34-year-old went on to write. "A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because; it’s the day I would meet my best friend. I can’t even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!"
Camden, the Lacheys' first child, is now 2, and he featured prominently in the tweet his father posted when the couple revealed there was another baby on the way back in July.
