Less than 72 hours after crossing the stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Houston Rockets’ newest player (and the 18th overall pick) was back home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin mowing his parents’ lawn.

His proud mom was all too happy to share the news on Twitter.

The picture has gained traction, inspiring University of Wisconsin-Platteville recruit Mitch Davis to share a picture of himself mowing the lawn after his college acceptance.

On Twitter, Dekker's picture has inspired the hashtag #Dekkering, modeled after the now-famous #Tebowing.

Maybe once his first check clears he can hire a professional gardener!
