Mommy Magic! Son's cut transformed into Harry Potter lightning scar

Some parents scar their kids for life. Others, just for a few hours — like this creative mom did to transform a cut on her son's face into the ultimate accessory.

Imgur user mommybrittaney posted a series on Wednesday titled "It's okay, mommy can fix this..." starring her adorable son and his enviable eyelashes.

The little guy's week got off to a rough start. "I was doing laundry and he decided the pile of clothes in his room looked too fun for him not to jump on. So he jumped and slipped and hit his head on the edge of the bed frame," mommybrittaney wrote in the comments.

"He was so embarrassed about his scratch and didn't want to leave the house and be seen with it that dressing him up as Harry Potter was my first instinct."

He makes a convincing double for the famous teenage wizard — and that's not his only act, either. "He loves to dress up and already had the round glasses for the days he wants to dress up as Spengler from Ghostbusters," mommybrittaney added.

After receiving a few concerned comments, she clarified that the day-old cut had fully healed before she worked her magic.

"First pic, I took for myself .... Then I washed him, used neosporin/bandaid ... Icepack, slept next to him holding a cool caprisun on his head. Next morning, removed bandaid to reapply, and guess what? It was a scab," she wrote.

"Those of you who are parents, let them get a little dirty, let them have a little fun," she wrote. TODAY reached out for comment, but didn't hear back.

Haters gonna hate. Now, young Harry — we just want to know if there's a spell to make our eyelashes grow like that!
