Look out, future Olympians: Boomer Phelps is officially learning how to swim.

The 6-month-old son of 23-time gold medalist Michael Phelps got a swim lesson on Monday from his dad and instructor Cathy Bennett, who taught Phelps when he was a kid.

Phelps captured the moment in a Facebook live video from the Baltimore pool where he took his first strokes as a 6-year-old. His wife, Nicole, was also along for the lesson.

At one point, Boomer hugs his dad tight after being passed to him by Bennett.

"He doesn't want to get wet,'' Phelps says. "He doesn't want to put his face under. He is like dad, I guess."

Boomer then appears to almost adorably fall asleep in his father's arms.

"Guess he really does just go to his happy place, just like daddy when he is in the pool,'' Phelps said.

Boomer became nearly as famous as his dad during this summer's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, stealing the spotlight with his Team USA style and noise-canceling headphones.

This week isn't his first time in the pool either, as his parents shared some sweet photos in July of Boomer taking a dip when he was 2 months old.

Boomer may have a swimming partner in the future, as Phelps talked in August about having more children, but right now is focused on having fun with his baby boy and teaching him the family business.

Let the road to the 2032 Olympics begin.
