Being a new parent, you tend to get overwhelmed by advice. Some works, some doesn't.
As part of our TODAY's Babies of the Week series, we ask new parents what advice has worked best for them. And we always love hearing their different tidbits.
Elizabeth and Travis Burrows, parents of Naomi London Burrows, told us: “Babies have personalities, mood swings and needs. Take the time to get to know your little one.” Meanwhile, Takeeya Person has a tip for when you feel like you are losing it. (And, yes, we all feel like that sometimes!) Person, mom of Christian Walker, born Feb. 6., says: "“When you feel like screaming along with your child, take deep breaths and pray!”
Lynne and Ian Cahail, parents of Kaysen James Cahail, born March 6, say the best advice is the kind you make your own. They say: “Revise advice! Not everything works for everyone, no matter what they tell you.”
