A couple of familiar morning faces showed up on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" Monday. TODAY's very own Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie sat down with Meyers to talk "Sharknado 3," family and even Donald Trump.

As for the topic of the republican candidate, Matt called him "a showman" comparing him to P.T. Barnum. But he had something to add, just in case Trump tuned in.

"I have nothing bad to say about Donald Trump, especially if he watches this show," he insisted with a smirk. "I don't need that aggravation."

Then it was on to a far cuter (no offense to Trump) subject: Savannah's 11-month-old daughter, Vale.

The little girl gets an eyeful of the TODAY gang every morning before the show with a FaceTime session, but what does Matt really think of it?

"I smile and pretend I think it's adorable," he deadpanned before assuring Seth and Savannah that's he's absolutely a Vale fan. "She's an adorable little girl!"

But what Seth really wanted to know about was the not-so-adorable fate of the TODAY anchors in the Syfy hit "Sharknado 3" and — spoiler alert! — they don't exactly make it out alive.

Not that it means they can't come back for a fourth installment in the franchise.

"Tara Reid lost her arm in 'Sharknado 2' and grew it back for 'Sharknado 3,'" Savannah said when Seth expressed doubt. "I feel like there's a chance."

We'll see! Until then, see everything Matt and Savannah had to say during their p.m. TV appearance in the clips.
