Martha Stewart's DIY crafts give old school supplies a new look

With back-to-school shopping lists that are extensive and expensive, Martha Stewart has a three letter solution: DIY! 

She shared several ways to create your own items and save money by repurposing last year's items. The crafts—which range from decorating notebooks, text books, backpacks and sneakers— are easy to do. And the best part is kids will have fun helping to make them.
