LeVar Burton, fresh from orchestrating one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever, once again has his nose in a book. This time it's Adam Mansbach's 'Go the F**k to Sleep,' the profane children's tale that connected with blurry-eyed parents everywhere to become a bestseller.

The 'Reading Rainbow' and 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' star read the book as part of a charity drive for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which has raised $243,758, far surpassing its original $200,000 goal.

Despite the fact that 'Go the F**k to Sleep' was released in 2011, the book is still one of Amazon's best-sellers. It might have received a boost from Samuel L. Jackson, that connoisseur of the f-word, who gave his own reading over the summer.

As for parents who desperately want their kids to f*****g do something, they are in for another treat. "You Have to F*****g Eat," Mansbach's latest book, hits stores in November
