Ever since Kelly Clarkson announced she was pregnant with her second child during a show at Los Angeles' Staples Center back in August, we've all been patiently waiting to find out the sex of the baby.
And the iconic singer has finally revealed the answer!
Clarkson posted an adorable photo of 16-month-old daughter River Rose on Instagram Friday and revealed that she will be having a boy!
"In other news, River's gonna have a little baby brother :) #itsaboy We're so excited!" Clarkson wrote on Instagram.
This announcement was planned, unlike when she initially broke the news at her concert.
"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm pregnant," Clarkson told the crowd. "Totally pregnant!"
She even had to apologize to her husband, Brandon Blackstock, and blamed it on the hormones.
"This is not how I wanted to announce that," she explained. "My makeup artist is backstage just, like, hating me."
The couple can't wait to welcome the newest addition to their family, which includes Blackstock's two children, Savannah and Seth, from a previous relationship.
