The name Emma was the the most popular name for two years in a row- and took the No.1 spot away from the reigning winner, Sophia, who was leading the polls since 2011.

Emma held her spot as the most popular name for little girls in 2015 for the second year in a row. Ava finally moved up on the list, after years of being stuck at No.5.

Emma worked herself up the ranks and took the No.1 coveted spot away from the reigning leader, Sophia. Parents chose classic names for their tots in 2014, with the only new names on the list being Mia and Madison.
