Finally! Duchess Kate showed off a prominent baby bump Thursday at a London elementary school during her first official engagement of the year.
The duchess, who is expecting her second child in April, helped name a new art space for The Art Room, a charity she patronizes. The organization uses art therapy to help build the confidence of children with emotional and behavioral problems.
Kate, who turned 33 last week, toured the school along with artist Grayson Perry. She also met with students, who greeted her by singing “Lean on Me” and presented her with an art room chair they built.
Duchess Kate wore a navy-colored shift dress with patterned hem and pocket flaps, designed by Madderson, a luxury line of women’s and maternity clothing based in London.
