Did this toddler's shopping cart just hit 88 miles per hour?
A dad shopping at Costco with his young son may have proved that "Back to the Future" wasn't just a movie after all.
The father posted a picture on Reddit of his little boy dressed in the exact same lime green polo and plaid shorts as a much older man in the background.
"I guess I know what my son will look like in 70 years..." the dad wrote about his little boy's look-alike. (Woman's Day was among the first to flag the funny photo.)
Perhaps old Biff Tannen zipped back from the future to slip young Biff a Grays Sports Almanac when his dad was not looking?
He's just waiting patiently on a bench for his opportunity.
If the older man is in fact the boy's future self, they should avoid meeting, or else it could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe!!

So there's that.
Reddit commenters had other theories.
"Your son just wanted to see his father one more time before he died, so he took a Delorean Uber back to 2016," one wrote.
Another added, "All universes cross at Costco."
