Actor Chris Pratt shared a tender video of his 3-year-old son, Jack, to honor a cause close to his heart.

Sporting a green bucket on his head and working on a drawing, the bespectacled little boy smiles as his dad sings a rendition of “Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead” from “The Wizard of Oz.”

Pratt posted the clip on his Instagram account Tuesday, in honor of World Prematurity Day, which is designed to focus attention on babies born too early around the world.

“Premature birth is the leading cause of death in children under 5 worldwide,” the “Jurassic World” star wrote in the caption. “About 15 million babies are born too soon every year. Nearly 1 million of these babies die within the first month of life.”

Jack was born prematurely in 2012, weighing 3 pounds and 12 ounces, or the dimensions of "a decent-sized bass," his dad joked.

The tiny baby had to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit — a tense time Pratt and his wife, actress Anna Faris, remember well.

“I made promises in that moment about what kind of dad I wanted to be, and I just prayed that he'd live long enough that I could keep them,” Pratt recalled in a speech at a March of Dimes benefit last year.

"I've done all kinds of cool things as an actor — I've jumped out of helicopters and done some daring stunts and played baseball in a professional stadium, but none of it means anything compared to being somebody's daddy."

He told the audience Jack had become a "strong, smart, happy, funny, beautiful boy."

The toddler is already a celebrity, playing a charming part in his parents' social media presence.
