When 11-month-old Aryeh went to Zoo Atlanta with his godfather, he dressed up like a fearless lion. And then he met one face to face!
Aryeh, which means "lion" in Hebrew, explored the zoo and saw lots of cool animals, but it wasn't until the end of his visit that he saw the lions and his face really lit up.

Acting just as brave as the king of the jungle, Aryeh went right up to the glass to get closer to the big cats. As he reached out and put his tiny fingers against the window, a lion patted its own paw right on the other side of the glass.

Then the lion got really excited, but little Aryeh never blinked. He kept his cool and smiled straight into the lion's face. Aryeh even followed the lion across the room, crawling on the ledge as the fierce feline paced back and forth.

Aryeh's godfather said the family moved along after a few minutes but that it was a great memory for the group.
From watching the little boy bravely come face to face with the much larger animal, we can say with certainty that he's no coward!
