Bill Clinton is now a gushing grandfather.
In an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, the former president admitted that he is wrapped around the finger of his granddaughter, Charlotte, who was born in September to daughter, Chelsea, and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky. Charlotte is Bill and Hillary's first grandchild.
“Like every other grandfather, I think my granddaughter’s the greatest thing since sliced bread,'' Clinton told Meyers.
Bill and Hillary are able to see Charlotte frequently because Chelsea and Marc live in New York City, and he has relished his newfound grandpa status.
“It’s so fun,'' he said. "So far my daughter has not had to discipline her overly exuberant grandparents too much. You know, these young people, they know what the rules are on child rearing. It’s very impressive.”
