Once again, TLC's "My Strange Addiction" lives up to its name. So far this season viewers have seen some doozies. There's been the man in love with his car, the woman obsessed with her 38KKK breast implants, and on the next episode, we'll meet Ayanna, a woman addicted to her toenails.
Yes, as outrageous as it seems, the 54-year-old just can't bring herself to clip her toenails, which is why she now sports 15 inches of them. Making matters worse for Ayanna, she's diabetic and her toenails prevent her from participating in most activities that could improve her health.
In the sneak peek clip below, Ayanna's friend Vincent attempts to illustrate the problem by taking her out dancing. The toenail enthusiast, who seems just as into her fingernails, spent the time worried about her "babies." Her pal suggested she simply part with them, but it's clear that's not going to happen.
"How are you going to tell me to just cut my toenails?" Ayanna asked. "They're like a limb on my body."
Several limbs, actually.
"My Strange Addiction" airs Sunday night at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
