Wild kingdom! How royals and animals go hand-in-hand

During his first public appearance since the birth of the royal baby Wednesday, Britain's Prince William put on a glove and did some falconry at an event in North Wales.

If he seemed unfazed by the giant bird mounted on his finger, it's because this isn't Will's first time handling a wild creature.

From scaly snakes to cuddly Corgis, animals and royals have gone hand-in-hand (literally) for decades. Check out the slideshow for more cuteness (and more Camilla, snuggling a kangaroo).
