The wife of country singer Craig Strickland, who went missing on a duck hunting trip, is pleading with fans to "please keep praying" for his safe return.

Helen Strickland, a former Miss Arkansas USA, tweeted out the request for prayers following Craig's disappearance in Oklahoma during a weekend trip with friend Chase Morland, 22, in the midst of deadly winter storms.

Strickland, 29, lead singer of the country group Backroad Anthem, remained missing Tuesday, two days after authorities began their search.

Morland's body was discovered Monday in Kaw Lake, some 90 miles north of Tulsa.

Authorities determined their boat capsized, according to NBC affiliate KFOR. The boat was also found.

The search resume Tuesday morning after halting Monday night due to weather and darkness.

Before the two set out, Morland sent out an ominous tweet that mentioned the damaging winter storm tearing through Oklahoma, dubbed "Goliath" in the press.

Craig's father, Randy Strickland, wrote that they are "trying to think of a scenario where he is still alive."

Fellow musician Tyler Rich sent out hopes for Strickland's return on his Facebook page.
